We’re so glad you’re considering being our guest at New Manna Baptist Church! We hope that you find our church to be an ideal place for you and your family to grow and seek the Lord. Our church is nestled right in the heart of downtown Marion, North Carolina with our main auditorium being located at 245 East Court Street which is just two blocks down from beautiful main street.

We want your first visit at New Manna Baptist Church to be refreshing and enjoyable for the whole family. We hope you experience great music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people and a place where you feel welcome and "at home!"

 

Depending on the time and day that you visit, here is what you can expect.

​

When you arrive on a Sunday at our main building, you will be met by one of our hospitality greeters who will direct you and your family to the appropriate classes and services. (The same would take place if you chose to visit us for a regular weekday service held every Wednesday at 7 pm). The greeters will also be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

 

We have several different Adult Sunday School classes (starting at 10 am) located around our church campus, one of which you are sure to find yourself at home in. We also have classes available for your teens and children. If you prefer stay together as a family that is absolutely fine and we even provide Nursery for the little ones. (Special classes and services are also held each Wednesday at 7 pm for various age groups).

The main worship service on Sunday starts at 11 am and consists of enthusiastic and inspiring singing from the entire congregation, as well as the church choir, special groups and soloists. We do take up an offering at some point in the service, but we don't expect visitors to give towards that and would only ask that you fill out the visitors card. This is followed by a clear, concise and challenging Bible message from Pastor Tony Shirley.

At the conclusion of each Sunday service, all guests are invited to the Visitors’ Reception room located in the main hall. There you’ll be greeted by one of our assistant pastors and have a chance to ask any questions that you may have.
