In order to have a successful youth ministry, the touch of God is needed, as well as a number of other things which include having the right minded people available and willing to serve. Brother Jason Garner not only cares about the young people he ministers to, he understands them! As a parent of seven children, patience is just one of the many needed virtues of this dedicated servant.

 

Bro Jason was lead to the Lord by his Mom in May of 1984.  At a young age, God began speaking to his heart about the Youth Ministry.  After working in various ministries in the North, the Lord called Bro Jason and Mrs Trisha, along with their three oldest sons Michael, Trason, and Kayleb, to New Manna Baptist Church in 2004.  He has been the youth pastor since October of that year. The Lord has continued to grow their family through adoption and added Nick, Kaz, Frances and Kinlee to the Garner home.  God is doing a great work in the teenagers of New Manna Baptist Church and Bro Jason and Mrs Trisha love being a part of it.  They look forward to all that the Lord has in store in the years to come as they continue to minister to the Young People of NMBC.
